Full-Time Fixed-Term Veterinary Nurse Position at Essendon Veterinary Clinic

Essendon Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Fixed-Term Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team, we are happy to consider Part-time (minimum of 27hrs per week) for the right candidate. The Role:

This is a full-time, fixed-term position, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Veterinary Nurse to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting veterinarians during consultations and surgeries

  • Performing diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and sample collection

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Providing client education and support

  • Maintaining accurate patient records

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the clinic

  • Assisting with general clinic administration and customer service

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certification or registration

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic

  • Passionate about animal care and client service

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ideal start date: 10th of February – 31st of May 2025 (subject to change)

  • Part-time will be considered (minimum of 27hrs per week) including Friday’s and a 1 in 4 Saturday rotation
