We’re excited to introduce four wonderful new faces who have recently joined the team at Essendon Vet Clinic! Dr Christine brings a wealth of experience, having worked in regional Queensland, Brisbane and even the UK before making Melbourne her new home. Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2018, she’s built a strong background in small animal medicine and has a special interest in preventative healthcare, helping pets stay happy and healthy throughout their lives. When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Christine out for a run or exploring Melbourne’s cafés and bakeries in search of the perfect coffee and pastry.
Brooke has been working in the veterinary industry for four years and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2024. She loves the variety that every day in general practice brings and especially enjoys caring for our patients while getting to know the people who love them.
Outside the clinic, Brooke is a busy mum, often travelling the countryside for her kids’ sporting commitments, or enjoying a quiet cuddle on the couch with her much-loved seven-year-old bulldog, Mavis.
Natasha joins our nursing team with eight years of experience as a veterinary nurse. She began her career in emergency nursing before moving into general practice and later relocated to Canberra with her now husband, where she worked in mixed practice, gaining valuable experience caring for both small and large animals. Natasha is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys building strong relationships with both pets and their owners.
Outside of work, Natasha loves spending time with her three cats, who keep life entertaining. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, watching her favourite shows and gardening, appreciating the opportunity to relax and be creative away from the clinic.
Michelle joins Essendon Vet Clinic after spending the past seven years as a professional dog groomer, owning and operating her own grooming salon, where she specialised in caring for anxious and special needs dogs. Her passion for animal care inspired her to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinary nurse. Michelle began her veterinary nursing career at Essendon Vet in April 2026 and is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She also works casually at a cattery, further expanding her experience caring for animals.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys training and competing in calisthenics competitions. She loves spending time with her own animal family, which includes her two Tibetan Spaniels, Heidi and Judy, three cats—Zorro, Batman and Pancake—and two guinea pigs, Dolores and Gertrude.
Michelle is passionate about providing compassionate, patient care and is excited to continue developing her skills as a veterinary nurse.
